The Grain Exchange Reserve – Manitoba Rye Whisky

In 2025, our Cask Strength Rye Whisky won a Gold Medal at the Canadian Whisky Awards. Back with a new name for 2026, The Grain Exchange Reserve is now available.

While our mainline rye whisky offers a balance between fruit and spice, intended to appeal to all palates and uses, the Grain Exchange Reserve was crafted by careful barrel selection to maximize the spice profile. Expect black pepper and clove to lead, with softer notes of dark chocolate and burnt sugar to linger on the palate. Bold and expressive, we like it best with a few drops of water or a large ice cube.

This is a whisky for making big decisions, celebrating big moments, and for adding a bit of warmth to a cold, Canadian winter night. Available directly from the distillery and in select Liquor Mart stores as a part of their annual Distinctions program, starting on November 7th.

Another year, another carefully selected barrel to celebrate the day we opened our doors!

This year we chose a wheat whisky that spent three years in new oak before being transferred to a recently emptied Patent 5 rum barrel for an additional 18 months. Now four and a half years old, it offers an elegant option to celebrate your own milestones.

This whisky was bottled at near cask strength to maximize the depth of flavour in every sip. We love how the natural sweetness of the wheat and the depth of the malted barley play together. Notes of coconut, cedar, and dark chocolate are prominent on the nose. Oak tannins provide initial dryness on the palate before giving way to the rum influence, which softens and extends the finish. Patent 5 Spiced Rum

750ml, 40% ABV

This spiced rum starts from the same base as our mainstay Aged Rum. We macerated cinnamon, cassia buds, sweet orange peel, and pink peppercorn in the rum before lightly sugaring and adding a touch of vanilla. The result is a complex and smooth rum with a distinct character unlike most spiced rums available on the market.

Red River Whisky

For all you Bourbon lovers out there we have crafted a Canadian version of a brrrbon (see what we did there?). Matured to bring forth character and complexity, Red River Whisky is the tenth release in our signature series—a bold, high-rye bourbon that balances tradition with a touch of the unexpected. Aged 4.6 years in New American Oak, this small-batch spirit features a distinctive mash bill of 53% corn, 23% rye, 12% wheat, and 12% malt, offering a rich and nuanced profile.

On the nose, expect ripe cherry, prunes, dried fruit, warm fennel, a medley of spice cabinet aromas, and just a whisper of bubblegum. The palate opens with juicy cherry, moves into classic rye spice, and finishes with subtle notes of bubblegum and roasted malt.
