Making an elegant looking cocktail has never been easier. Softer and slightly less expressive than our Patent 5 gin, it still carries the juniper forward taste with plenty of fresh citrus on the palate. Our Purple Blossom Gin was awarded Manitoba Food and Beverage 2019 Best New Product. For Pride 2025, we’re proud to partner with artist Shafik Kamani and support two vital organizations: Our Own Health and the Rainbow Resource Centre. A portion of proceeds from every bottle of our limited-edition Pride Purple Blossom Gin will go directly to these organizations, helping to uplift and empower 2SLGBTQ+ communities in Manitoba.
Our beautiful label for Pride was created by Artist Shakik Kamani.
Though Shafik has returned to Toronto, a piece of his
heart will always belong to Winnipeg. So, when selected
by Patent 5 to design the label for their Purple Blossom
Gin, he didn’t hesitate. It was more than a design
project—it was a love letter to the city, the 2SLGBTQ+
community, and its vibrant, resilient allies.
Inspired by the quiet strength of everyday people and the
deep-rooted bonds within communities that care for the
land and each other, Shafik infused the label with bold,
avant-garde color and simple, striking shapes. The result?
A powerful celebration of growth, connection, and visibility.
Kenyan-born, Canadian-Indian, and a self-proclaimed
“creative madman,” Shafik blends imagination with
purpose in everything he does—from painting to dance.
His mission: to make art that matters.
And with this label,
he’s done just that.
